Valentino Reopens Uomo Boutique in The Landmark, Hong Kong
The newly relocated store consists of contiguous address space carrying all Menswear product categories: Menswear ready-to-wear, accessories and perfume.
Valentino’s Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli collaborated with world renowned British architect David Chipperfield to design the store concept – a place full of contrasts, with beautiful yet austere architecture that can accommodate a wood and brass display system.
With the new concept, the store seeks a sense of continuity and uniformity. This new architectural concept for Valentino Uomo is based on three main ideas:
– to create beautiful, solid rooms resembling swimming pools, with terrazzo stone wall panels and palladiana marble flooring;
– to design artisan-crafted shelving and racks composing a very flexible product display system;
– to create simple yet refined benches and island-style counters that whilst seemingly permanent features, embody the same flexibility of the display system.
The Maison’s high quality craftsmanship, glamour and sophistication are seen in all aspects of the store. The boutique sets a perfect background for the Valentino Uomo collection and provides its discerning customers with an intimate shopping experience.
