Smart, high-tech, and pure sportswear influences the collection as well as sophisticated, simple, and softly-constructed silhouettes lend to a modern tailoring story with a sense of calm and Zen-like serenity.
“This season we drew inspiration from nature, half seaside-half desert, and a more human, context driven approach to technology and the way it relates to our spatial world. It is all in the details,” says Thomas Steinbrueck, Creative Director of Porsche Design. “The Porsche Design look for Spring/Summer is inventive, refined, discreet, minimalist-chic and simple.”
A balance of quiet, considered design with subtle hints and accents of color is key. Sublime imperfections and the fragile beauty of approximation are seen in the volume of garments. Lightly sculptured silhouettes feel crisp, soft and comfortable, draping around the body with a bespoke sense of ease and are punctuated by subtle and refined details. A clean, modern palette of sophisticated neutrals and white shades is enhanced through soft skin tones and summer navy.
As part of the Spring/Summer 2015 show, Porsche Design presented another highlight of the collection, the Agnodice. The new women’s handbag compliments the two iconic models TwinBag and CosmoBag. Directly from the runway collection, The ‘Agnodice’ will be available in Porsche Design Stores worldwide on November 2014.
The classic, timeless, and sophisticated design and silhouette of the Agnodice is reminiscent of a traditional doctor’s bag and was inspired by the first female Greek physician Agnodike (whom the handbag is named after).
