Links of London, the leading accessible luxury British watch and jewellery brand, captures the spirit of London and continues to captivate consumers with striking jewellery collections, statement watches and a selection of exquisite gifts. The debut watch collection launched in 2007 and since then has become a core part of the Links of London offer, with further significant growth planned over the next few years across both the Men’s and Women’s lines.
With the intention to focus on these beautifully crafted time pieces in 2015, Links of London has officially appointed Asian actor and model Godfrey Gao as its brand ambassador for mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau. Since his debut in 2004, Gao has been one of the most recognizable faces in the Asian region. To date, Godfrey has worked with many respected top Asian talents in the film industry as well as having been in the Hollywood film “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” in 2013. This sits alongside success with home grown mega-hits such as TsuiHark’s 2008 blockbuster “All About Women” and voicing the character “Ken” in the Mandarin version of Pixar’s “Toy Story 3”.
Godfrey said, “I am looking forward to working with Links of London to help showcase its gorgeous watches and accessories this year. As a model and actor, I have come in contact with many different looks and styles over the years. From my work, you really start to understand the importance of accessorising correctly, as it is the key to perfecting the individuality of one’s own look and style. I have been a fan of Links of London for a while now as the elegance of the products really speaks to my personal style and I was very excited when they approached me for this ambassador role”.

In January 2015 Godfrey completed a campaign shoot in London, the home of Links of London, for the 2015 collection with a shoot theme of a day in the life of an English Gentleman. The shoot took place at some of London’s most iconic landmarks. On set Godfrey noted, “it’s great to be in London for the photo shoot; being physically in the presence of some of London’s famous landmarks really gave me a deeper understanding of the brand’s inspirations”. The official campaign is set to be unveiled at Baselworld 2015 with Godfrey Gao to attend the fair in person.
