Luxury Italian footwear brand Ballin celebrates Expo 2015 with an exclusive food-related limited edition line inspired by Italy’s world-famous coffee.
The spirit of the Ballin woman is channelled into an urban-inspired collection where the typical elegance and femininity of the brand is translated into sporty chic creations.
The Spring-Summer 2015 season marks a further evolution of the Ballin style which, exploring new aesthetic codes, breaks a number of traditional fashion rules, giving rise to innovative themes and eye-catching combinations that express the brand’s resolute and cosmopolitan character.
First and foremost the colours, whose dynamic energy invigorates soft nappa in brilliant tones to produce a series of mules, sandals, ballet flats and 3-5 cm heel pumps, embellished with ingot-shaped metal applique that give even the most classic models a gritty and modern feel.
The sandals are an explosion of high-energy colours, a nod to the world of sport in true Ballin style. Contrasting maxi buckles stand out on fuchsia/red, turquoise/cornflower blue and turquoise/yellow suede straps exalted by a black trim and paired with solid, flatform or stiletto heels. The combinations of colours and materials are even more marked in the versions with leather straps alternated with stone, pink, light blue or navy elaphe, which interplay with the light-hearted colour contrast of the buckles. There are also multicolour pastel versions of the same models. The minimalist yet extremely refined sandals also catch the eye, and are distinctive for their shaped bands, in total black rubber, closed by a sensual ankle strap that elegantly embraces the instep. Enhanced by a thin coloured band, the athletic chic sandals come in a seductive version with stiletto heel or in the more metropolitan flatform, in line with the most recent trends.
The must-haves also include the explosive gladiator boots, distinctive for their enveloping denims straps that reveal the leg in highly seductive game of now you see it, now you don’t. For an audacious yet feminine look, Ballin unveils black or coloured jewel applique on the caged black or white leather straps of the metropolitan sandals, which come with broad, solid heels of different heights.
The collection is completed by the new Ballin designer bags range consisting of elegant clutch bags, bucket bags, shoppers and rucksacks which, thanks to their functional straps, become everyday items produced in the principal themes, materials and colours of the main collection for a perfect Ballin-style total look.
